Can I share something a little personal with you?
I LOVE helping moms on their parenting journey.
It started when I became a mother. I was far from my own family and navigating motherhood pretty much on my own.
Plus the landscape of parenting was beginning to change radically [internet, social media and all that!] and so the wisdom of previous generations did not seem to work anymore.
There was much information available out there but it did not seem to apply to my situation: a young Muslim mother wanting to please God, do the best by her children and family and keep everyone happy.
Sometimes, the information and lectures I heard and the books I read that told me that I “should do this and that” made it worse since I was really hard on myself. The advice that I was hearing did not translate well in my home [the children had not gotten the memo it seems!!]
And so I began to study and train myself to become a conscious parent. And apply everything that I was learning on my own family first and then on others who needed support.
I also learnt how important it was to take care of my own wellbeing as a mother because my mental wellbeing seemed to directly impact the emotional climate in my home. [DUH!] I began to practice treating myself kindly and motivating myself with compassion rather than criticism. I began to be honest about what worked and did not work in my own upbringing and how I needed to consciously choose what kind of parent I wanted to be.
Over the years, I continued professional and self-led training and started sharing what I was learning and what worked [and did not] so that others could benefit. I was actually quite surprised at the response since I had thought maybe it was only me that seemed to struggle so much. Many many people started telling me how my work was helping them parent consciously while being kind to themselves.
And so I began to develop what is now an enormous treasure trove of workshops and seminars that have helped many hundreds of parents like yourself on this rewarding and challenging journey of parenthood.
And so an idea began brewing in my head. An idea that I have tried to push away but it just won’t go away. And so I thought, let me reach out to you and see if this is something that might interest or help you on your parenting journey.
Here is the idea:
I am thinking of creating an online hub, a membership site for parents who want to parent consciously, use positive parenting techniques and raise responsible adults who are a blessing for their families and the world. All the while without burning out and taking care of themselves and their own wellbeing.
On the hub, members would have access to the many workshops that have been done in the past as well as new ones on relevant issues. Both from a parenting perspective and a mom’s wellbeing perspective. It would be my intention that it become a source of answers on big picture parenting questions and kind support for the community of parents who choose to be a part of it.
So that is my [broad] vision.
And I know that I can’t do this alone and I don’t have all the answers.
Currently, this idea is very rough around the edges. I have LOADS of content that I have created on many different aspects of parenting and motherhood AND I have a deep desire to support you on your parenting journey
There are many things we still need to work out and details that need to be decided. But first – before I go any further with this - I need to check if this would be something useful for parents like yourself.
And that’s why I’d love to extend an early invitation to you. I want you to be part of this… especially if you’re willing to help me shape this idea.
Meaning, if you join me as a founding member and you’re willing to help contribute ideas on how we can make this THE best place to support Muslim moms in raising kind and responsible adults while looking after your own wellbeing, I’m willing to extend a very favorable “founding member” price.
When this offer is extended to the general public, I anticipate the starting price for this to be somewhere in the neighborhood of $27 – 37 USD per month.
Of course, I am not expecting you to pay that.
I'm opening up a very limited number of lifetime spots [only for women at this point] into my membership for just $200 USD.
This means that you'll get to be a member for the life of the membership without ever paying a monthly fee like everyone else. This will help me off-set some of the costs of developing the membership and the membership platform so that it provides the best experience for members.
But here's the catch… I'm only offering this to a very limited number of mothers like you who are already part of my inner circle and who know and support the work. And if this idea is to move forward and be sustainable, I can only do this for a few parents who are ready to make the commitment now, without knowing all the details. The lifetime option for this membership at this price will not be offered again.

If enough people join as founding members, I will know that this is something that is needed and will start working on it asap, and will inshallah launch it next month or so for the founding members.
