Here's a strange fact about dominoes: a single one can knock over another roughly 1.5 times its size. Line up a chain of 13, each 1.5 times larger than the last, and the final push carries about 2 billion times more energy than the first tap.
Gary Keller uses a version of this in The One Thing. He calls it Goal Setting to the Now: take your big, someday goal, and work backward: five years, one year, this month, this week, today until you land on the one thing you can do right now that serves everything above it.
Most of us have a "someday" goal we haven't connected to today. We know where we want to be in five years but couldn't tell you what that means for this Tuesday afternoon.
That gap — between the big goal and the next right action — is exactly where the Clarity & Confidence Workshop lives.
On July 18 in Richmond Hill, I will be working with men and women in the GTA who are serious about closing the gap between who they are right now and who they're meant to be through the process of identifying your Wildly Important Goals and reverse-engineering them into a daily protocol.
This not [more] vague inspiration. It is a concrete plan you leave with the same day.
